Gamerie — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these Terms

Welcome to Gamerie. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Gamerie Corp (“Gamerie,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using our website at gamerie.gg, related subdomains including mvp.gamerie.gg and tournaments.gamerie.gg, and associated apps (together, the “Platform”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Minors & Age-Gate Policy, and Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Who can use Gamerie

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required by law in your country) to create an account.

• Younger users may only use the Platform where permitted by applicable law and with verifiable parental consent, as described in our Minors & Age-Gate Policy.

• You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Your account and Gamerie ID

• Your Gamerie account and verified identity (“Gamerie ID”) are personal to you. You may not impersonate others, sell or transfer your account, or create accounts to evade bans or restrictions.

• We may verify your identity and may suspend or permanently close accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Tournaments, entry fees, and prizes

• The Platform allows organizers to run tournaments and, where legally permitted, to charge entry fees and award prizes.

• Payments and prize disbursements are processed by Stripe Connect. Gamerie does not act as a bank, does not hold your funds as a deposit-taking institution, and does not guarantee prizes. Stripe handles all money movement and identity verification for payouts.

• Gamerie charges a platform commission of 5% on applicable paid tournaments.

• Availability of paid-entry tournaments varies by country and is subject to local law. Where paid entry is not legally permitted, only free-entry formats with sponsor-funded prizes are available.

• Minors may not pay entry fees or receive monetary prizes except as expressly permitted under our Minors & Age-Gate Policy and applicable law.

• You are solely responsible for any taxes applicable to prizes you receive.

5. Fair play and competitive integrity

• Cheating, match-fixing, collusion, use of unauthorized software, account sharing, smurfing, or any manipulation of results is strictly prohibited.

• Violations may result in immediate disqualification, forfeiture of any prizes, account suspension or permanent ban, and where appropriate, reporting to relevant authorities or game publishers.

• We may record and verify match data to maintain competitive integrity across the Platform.

6. Your content

• You retain ownership of content you post on the Platform (posts, clips, profile data, and other materials).

• By posting content, you grant Gamerie a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content on and in connection with the Platform.

• You are responsible for your content and must have all necessary rights to post it. You must not post unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harmful content. See our Community Guidelines for full conduct standards.

7. Your verified data

• We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

• We may create aggregated and de-identified data and insights from Platform activity. Data relating to minors is excluded from all such datasets.

• Your verified competitive record (match results, performance data) is stored permanently on your Gamerie profile unless you request deletion in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Game publishers and third-party rights

• Games played on the Platform are owned by their respective publishers. You must comply with those publishers’ terms, community guidelines, and competition rules.

• Gamerie is not affiliated with or endorsed by any game publisher unless expressly stated.

9. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Break any applicable law or regulation

• Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any person

• Harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other users

• Cheat, defraud, or manipulate any tournament, result, or payment

• Scrape, copy, or misuse Platform data

• Attempt to breach or circumvent security measures

• Use the Platform in any way that facilitates illegal gambling or betting

• Take any action that could harm minors using the Platform

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your access to the Platform for any breach of these Terms, to protect the Platform and its users, or as required by law. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@gamerie.gg.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gamerie disclaims all warranties and limits its liability in connection with your use of the Platform. Gamerie is not liable for the actions of other users, for prize disputes between players and organizers, or for any failure of third-party services including Stripe.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will notify you directly. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration under Delaware law. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before initiating formal proceedings.
